Unless they tried a military option I really dont see what they could do
Of course they will try a military option.
I really dont see them attacking Texas without provocation.
Why provocation? If say Texas authorities decide to proclaim independence and get to fulfill it on practice, they wont be able to do it without the federal government's consent, will they? I have some doubts this consent will be given.
I dont think Texas gives a shit about what the leftist want,I know I dont.
If they come in with military force it will only encourage the other red states to rebel.
I dont see how this doesn't get nasty at this point.
Texas has already said they want to become a 2nd amendment sanctuary.
We haven't gone far enough on the sanctuary front. We need protection from BATF for manufacturing military-grade arms in-state for use in intra-state commerce for qualified citizens WITHOUT federal interference.

In other words, Texas needs to say "fuck you" to FedGov on ALL fed gun "laws." Texas needs to FORCE FedZilla to abide the true intent of the 2A.

Fuck Y'all I'm From Texas!
Why not just kick Texas out of the Union?
I don't think that most Texas citizens would want that. Remember that the thugs in the state government have managed to make sure that millions of Texans have no real voice in their state government. They have done nothing for their citizens, despite widespread flooding, an illegal fertilizer plant that destroyed the town of West, Texas, a raging pandemic, and the current food crisis. All the state officials seem capable of doing is filing ridiculous lawsuits seeking to overturn the last election and passing ridiculous laws targeting abortion and LGBTQs. Moreover, I think that paxton is already under investigation. The Texas government is totally useless.
If you dont live here STFU,you dont have any idea of what Texans want.
As a Texan I do know what Texans want...out of the soon to be the socialist states of America.
And I'm willing to bet there are a lot of red states who want the same, especially when they get a taste of what Xiden and company have in store for them.

In a Republic, actually
Texas is a totally gerrymandered state with a thoroughly corrupt government. It's officials have a reputation for lying and filing bogus lawsuits, more of which will be filed by the corrupt paxton and dismissed, hopefully with orders that paxton be sanctioned under Rule 11.

For those of you who do not believe that Texas is seriously contemplating getting out of his fucking piece of shit union, this report should make the case a little bit stronger.

I hope we make Biden impotent with pure gridlock and litigation until he gets nothing done.

Fuck each and every last one of you motherfuckers!!!
Conservatives are such petulant children.

Newsflash: Texas isn’t going anywhere.

‘Secession’ is un-Constitutional.

US citizens residing in Texas who wish to remain US citizens cannot have their citizenship taken from them against their will; neither the courts nor the state government have the authority to do so.

Okay. Maybe you have heard this question many times, but I will ask it. Dont you think that the main issue of Texas, in the regard of political future, comes not from outside but from inside. I mean the current demographic which turns the state to purple colors at best in the future.

Well, Texas has Representatives and two Senators..who will all be in the minority in Congress, so...Texas can knock itself out. No one cares. And for the record, I'd give Texas back to Mexico..and then build a wall around it.
Texas economy is one of the largest in the World just like California, so throwing Texas out would be a very stupid move by the fringe left!

Just because you have individuals like the OP does not mean all of Texas is like them and only a ignorant fool would be as stupid as the OP with saying stuff like Texas should leave the Union or be tossed out!

There are some 29 million people in Texas. I don't know the percentage of adults. How could you possibly know what all the adults in Texas want? How could you possibly know what all of the adults in the "red" states want? Biden got 46.5% of the votes cast in Texas alone.

Presidential votes by state in 2020

O'Rourke won 48.3% of the vote when he lost to Cruz.

Yes, that is understandable. But if they will be growing in numbers and taking more and more official positions at local and state levels, in law enforcement agencies, then won't Texas be getting some common features with Latin American countries in this regard? I mean more corruption, crime, mismanagement etc.

Texas you say? Wasn't that the shit for brains state, led by the Canadian Cruz, that tried to steal an election for Trump by suing some other states not long ago, to overturn an election that Trump LOST, and was ignored by the SCOTUS?

Well, that is now when they are still a minority. But what will be when they become a majority with greater grip on the power. Who knows.

You are missing my point. Nobody can claim that they know what all Texans want based solely on the fact that s/he lives in the state; not with these vote totals, which indicate that Texans are split. Nobody knows what Texans who didn't vote for whatever reason would want. Individual counties are irrelevant.
