‘America first’ was an unmitigated failure that rendered America last.

Gone will be the coddling of dictators, going to war with our allies, and a failed isolationist policy that only diminished America’s standing in the world.

I don't know what the hell you're talking about, but his policies undermined the ability of the UN to establish itself as the leader of the world, he was successful making our so called allies more militant and marginalized our capacity to make peace by opening up back doors for Israel to keep their foot on the necks of the Palestinians. He went to war in the middle east against dictators and freedom fights alike, emboldened the Saudis and gave them more weapons while turning the world against Iran.

Trump's success was to the detriment of nations that have been exploited by europeans for centuries and made ameica look like a peaceful referee on the Korean peninsula. He played the world for fools, apparently you bought his shtick too.

The UN has had its chance to be a leader but they are full of shit. They will tell you how important it is for the U.S. to curtail it's economic activity in order to save the planet from global warming, yet we saw how they stood by for so long as the old government of Sudan slaughtered the farmers in the south, and we saw how they were afraid to lift a finger to protect the Tutsi tribes from the Hutus in Rwanda. Had it been U.S. marines instead of U.N peacekeepers, there would have been no such slaughter.

You didnt see the U.N. back in the 90s running to help starving Somalis... it took the U.S. to lead relief efforts, so give us a break about the inherent goodness of the U.N.

The 'America First' policy is nothing new to the US or US "Foreign Policy"! Wilson had coined that phrase for his isolationist foreign policy too, about 100 years ago. When the USA emerged from WWII as one of the victors, its strength was preeminent among the allies.

Trump found a fitting foreign policy in 'America First' owing to his ignorance of history foreign and domestic, ignorance of foreign affairs in general, and the combined gross ignorance of his chosen staff! It all started with the gutting of the State Dept in 2017.

For me, "America first" means we take care of our own before we do anything else.

It means I want to see the American athlete beat the athlete from somewhere else.
It means I want to see the invention come from America each and every time.
