Shrug...... Soooooo abortion is where it belongs.MADISON - Women in Wisconsin will continue to have access to abortion services under a new ruling from the state's highest court that invalidates a 176-year-old state law that had banned abortions in nearly every situation.

Shrug...... Soooooo abortion is where it belongs.
With the states...
Abortion is now legal in Wisconsin at any time, for any reason. They basically ruled that the laws passed in the last 50 years made the old law moot.
Abortion is now legal in Wisconsin at any time, for any reason.
It is also now a sanctuary state for women in surrounding states. Now along with Illinois, women in midwest states have more options.
You are sad. Why do you so love killing humans in the womb?
Wisconsin is projected to experience a significant population decline, with estimates suggesting a decrease of nearly 200,000 residents by 2050, primarily due to declining birth rates and an aging population.
Population Projections
- According to projections from the Wisconsin Department of Administration, the state's population is expected to decline from approximately 5.89 million in 2020 to about 5.71 million by 2050. This represents a decrease of around 183,598 residents.
2- Another projection estimates a decline of approximately 279,000 people over the next 25 years, with specific county-level data indicating that most counties will face population decreases.

3 SourcesContributing Factors
- Declining Birth Rates: Wisconsin has seen a consistent drop in birth rates, contributing to the overall population decline. Fewer births mean a smaller younger population to replace the aging demographic.
2- Aging Population: The baby boomer generation is entering higher mortality age groups, which is expected to lead to a natural decrease in population as deaths outpace births.
2- Migration Trends: Wisconsin is not experiencing significant in-migration to offset the declining birth rates. Many areas, particularly urban centers like Milwaukee, have seen population losses, while only a few counties are projected to grow.

4 SourcesRegional Impacts
- Specific counties are projected to experience severe declines, with Florence County expected to lose 31% of its population and Adams County projected to decline by 29% by 2050.
2- Conversely, some counties, such as Dane County, are expected to see growth, with projections indicating an increase of 38% by 2050.

The population decline in Wisconsin poses challenges for the state's future, including potential impacts on the economy, workforce, and social services. Addressing these trends may require policy interventions to encourage higher birth rates and attract new residents to the state.

So the economy will get better. Houses will sell for less, rent will decrease.Wisconsin is projected to experience a significant population decline, with estimates suggesting a decrease of nearly 200,000 residents by 2050, primarily due to declining birth rates and an aging population.

Gee, Skews...didn't you on the left claim that sending the abortion issue back to the States would mean the end of abortions? How does letting States decide the abortion issue lead to a "nationwide ban", Clayton? Obviously that's not the case, as Wisconsin has shown, yet you're still here peddling that same false narrative!‘Gov. Tony Evers, who authorized the lawsuit brought by Attorney General Josh Kaul, said when the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022, the court "upended five decades of precedent and threw reproductive freedom in Wisconsin — and across our country — into chaos."’ ibid
Overturning Roe was never about ‘letting the states decide’ – for authoritarian conservatives it’s about a nationwide ban, it’s about more government at the expense of individual liberty, contrary to the will of the people of the states who recognize the right to privacy and reproductive autonomy.
