Must have something to do with objecting to having Federal law enforcement interfering with local governance or law enforcement.

That has never been done before. At least not in the country. The only countries that I know of that had national political police are Nazi Germany and Russia. I’m sure the Chinese have a similar arrangement.

We have one Wisconsin state legislator saying it is okay for a judge to violate the laws.

We have the Governor openly advocating not to help ICE, in spite of Federal laws superseding any state laws per Article VI Supremacy Clause.

Why are Democrats openly rebelling, as in 1861, to protect illegal aliens? Well, at the very least, illegals get counted for purposes of apportionment (hopefully Congress will change that).

We do know Democrats in many places advocate illegals voting in city or town elections, and have passed laws to that effect in several localities (NYC's attempt was tossed by that state's highest court).

The Democrat vote is slipping away and they know it. That's why this is happening. It went when did them however. Many of the illegals they seek to protect will eventually become conservative voters it's in their DNA.
