Winter Has Come

Oh I'm glad you like my pictures for as I said it is very pretty but it also gets to be a pain at times. Especially since I was planning on going to the movies with my fiancée on Wednesday so I'm hoping the weather will be alright. We want to go see the Bonhoeffer movie.

Well I hope you have a good time. I haven't been to a theater to see a movie for a very long time, Jurassic Park I think it was.

We got a light dusting...less than an inch. And it was 11 this morning so the snow was the dry fly away stuff.

No big deal but I did need to dust off the truck & shovel the sidewalk (just to expose the concrete to the sun helps melt it). .

I'm guessing you must live up near Lake Erie in the Cleveland area or thereabouts and are getting a lot of lake effect. It always snows the most when it is right near freezing.

That movie was really impressive watching it in a theater. But, prices kinda went up and we got out of the theater deal.

I wear a Trump 24 hat wherever I go...
And we get snow... quit a bit of it last year....

Wearing hats accelerates the early onsets of baldness.

Yeah well as soon as I get the money and the proper living arrangements but yeah it's all white out there. It looks like a Christmas card or something right out of A Christmas Carol with that street lamp.

What about the manger? It didn't snow in Bethlehem. Well I guess that it could have when Jesus was born as a miracle but the Bible doesn't mention it. It also doesn't mention a stable, or the animals there when He was born, or there only being three wisemen either as we jumped to our own conclusions as a culture. Anyways, it sure does look beautiful out there though doesn't it?

No, I get it. I was looking at reports of lake effect in the Upstate region and it looks a lot like that. lol

Because, we are surrounded by the Great Lakes, we get lake effect snow as early as the week of Thanksgiving! The UP gets it first, usually starts with a few inches. Right now, they got a food of snow.

Down where I live, we got a few inches to start.
