I guess it is a big problem after all.


They have very limited use. No chance of ever replacing traditional power generation methods. They're too fragile, too expensive to maintain, and too environmentally damaging to be a realistic solution for anything other than hobbyists.
 
From the link, a lie. Wind Turbines requires miles of land. And once they have destroyed miles of land, they still do not produce the electricity we get from the nuclear power plant that is comparatively on a postage stamp sized piece of land.
Wind energy is considered eco-friendly because wind turbines rarely release harmful carbon emissions and don't need water for cooling. They also don't require too much land to build.
 
Vertical axis is the way to go. Less efficient but much less expensive to build and maintain.
