Trump’s orders, of course. That’s a big shift for a country that’s treated oil as party -only for so long. Feels like economic pressure is forcing new choices. still, Will you invest in Venezuela’s oil - gas industries ?

ps Drop in oil price ;)

Seems good to me that oil companies can reacquire and modernize their stolen assets in Venezuela.

Venezuela currently supplies about 3% of US oil. Even at its peak, Venezuela supplied less than 10% of US oil.

Seems like this is good for everyone.

I am sure lefties would love to see a massive spike in oil prices so they could have political fodder to blast Trump.

Pres. Trump is making sure that no countries can place sanctions on Venezuela by letting American oil companies be in charge of Venezuela oil. And he stated that they'll make sure that anyone who buys their oil will be buying at the international market price from Venezuela and no more buying it at way below market value. He needs countries' economy to be doing well so they can afford to pay tariffs. That there's not going to be anymore income tax or healthcare that is funded by the US citizens. That tariffs will fund everything in our country and that's why he needs countries economy to be doing great.

I do not understand your point.

I have no idea what will happen to oil prices due to Venezuela not being communist.

What does any of this have to do with Putin?
