Will Trump encourage private companies, to do what he has done with government workers to reduce prices?

Trump has ignored laws protecting federal workers. The laws are more restrictive than any union contract. Maybe too restictive.

If Trump can ignore the law, why can't private companies ignore union contracts. They can lower wages and benefits. It will reduce the price of products to the consumer.

Companies have been busting unions for at least half a century. Unions served an important purpose 100 years ago, they have outlived their usefulness.

Companies have been busting unions for at least half a century. Unions served an important purpose 100 years ago, they have outlived their usefulness.

Possibly so, but so many MAGA supporters are yelling about jobs going off shore. They went off shore because the wages were much lower. If the US manufacturers bring the jobs back, nothing will stop them from paying minum wage. Or if they pay a good wage the cost of products go up and we have inflation.
