Well ... I have been to the Middle East ... With greater visions and trying to do my part.
It led to inevitable and eventual failure ... I was lucky to make it out alive and in one piece.

But I am still not disenfranchised about it all ... I think about the People.
There are forces in the region that want something better ... And an equal number of forces fighting that the best they can.

All the while ... There is a constant undercurrent of hostility and violence ... Nothing you are going to experience while all cozy here.
You have the luxury to have high and self-righteous thoughts ... While they suffer and try to make it through each day.
Doing nothing will never fix any of that ... And there are people willing to try yet again ... With a high probability of failure.

What are you really asking me ... You want to know what I really think.

I'm Thankful it's not my decision ... Not something I am going to be called upon to handle today.
I'm going to stay out of the way of people who are willing to give it their best shot ...
Thinking about the People more than the Politics.
