Will this week be remembered as the time where NPR and PBS disappeared?

They have a smattering of education but it's become 95% indoctrination and wokeness.
The intellectually equivalent of bird cage liner.
A Classroom Is Not a Playground

It's equal in effect to schools not teaching practical value. Learning as fun still makes it useless. Plus, the student won't do anything hard if he can't see how to make a game out of it.

Long ago when I was a young man I listed to NPR daily and frequently watched PBS. The programming was great. Today it's nothing but The View on steroids. Far left propaganda, Republican hating filth. I don't want MY tax dollars spent on that crap.

PBS President and CEO Paula Kerger on CNN this morning: “People often struggle to come up with examples” of left-wing bias at PBS.

Actually, it’s not a struggle at all.

Here are just a few of PBS’s biggest whiffs:

Anyone doubt that PBS has been hijacked by the left? They don’t even try to hide it.

PBS has taken billions of dollars from the taxpayer on the understanding that they represent both sides and all taxpayers.

We never got that.

For our money, we got nothing but leftwing extremist views, ideology and agenda, with nary a single conservative view ever much less one in the studio. That effectively make PBS a criminal organization and Trump ought to claw back every dime we paid into it but never got what we paid for.

The HORROR has already begun:
  1. PBS is running nothing but reruns, no new programming.
  2. PBS is airing funding drives 7 days a week now on all channels.
  3. Pakistan which can afford to build its own nuclear bombs will now have to feed their own starving citizens too.
Democrats are so busy telling us all the good these programs did that they overlook the fact that we are going broke funding them and cannot continue, and that all these countries had the benefit of all our help for years and decades.

Too bad in all that time, they never pulled their own bootstraps together assuming it would always be there.

Sort of like government workers, who always figured that cushy, high-paid job would always be there, too.

Reality bites, eh?

Well, losing a government job is a tough break. I mean, where else can you get a job with little performance standards, nearly impossible to be fired from, premium work environment, long lunches, great benefits, and making 50% more than the average person for similar work.

Suddenly, these people will have to go out and shop for the kind of job, pay and benefits offered the rest of us, all due to the very government programs and such they helped create.

The Weather Channel is the only bipartisan result on your list

The rest merely confirm libs are moving in lockstep to the music of the lib news media
The most and least trusted news sources
Like in last year's survey, we asked Americans in 2025 whether they find news from each of 52 outlets very trustworthy, trustworthy, untrustworthy, very untrustworthy, or neither trustworthy nor untrustworthy. Using these results, we calculate each outlet's net trust score – that is, how much more likely Americans are to say the outlet's news is trustworthy or very trustworthy than untrustworthy or very untrustworthy.

By this measure, The Weather Channel persists as the most trusted news source, as it was in 2022, 2023, and 2024: Americans are 49 percentage points more likely to call The Weather Channel trustworthy as they are to call it untrustworthy — up from +43 last year. Like last year, the Weather Channel is followed by two public broadcasters: the BBC (+26) and PBS (+25).

By far the least-trusted outlet included in the poll is the National Enquirer (-37, better than -44 last year, when it also ranked last for trust). The outlets trusted least besides the Enquirer are, like last year, Infowars (-15) and Breitbart News (-7).
