I call them as I see them. I was ready to vote for GW Bush until I lost trust when he named Dick Cheney as his running mate. When those on the right were cracking French jokes and backing GW Bush's efforts in creating Islamic Republics, I questioned whether they really thought Iraq would be any more loyal was France?

And then there was John McCain. The ultimate believer that there wasn't any situation in the world that the U.S. needed to keep its nose out of. The guy who believed American forces would be greeted by citizens of Baghdad as our forces were welcomed 60 years earlier in Paris. I thought that 2008 election would be the worse I'd ever seen. On one side we had McCain who simply saw being Commander in Chief as an enjoyable chess game verses Obama who lost a debate on the street to a Toledo plumber.

I did vote for Romney. Shame he didn't win because what has come afterwards has been purely awful.

My view of shooting straight in political opinions is being consistent. You on the right however do always side with the flavor of the day they're putting out there for you.
