So? Republican and conservatives do not police the lesser instincts, actions, and words of fellow Republicans. Democrats and liberal do not police the lesser instincts, actions, and words of fellow Democrats. Both parties want to project themselves as "the Big Tent" and welcome money and support from, basically, all sources they can attract, often on single issue political issues, creating a reticence to call down their own. This is the reason, there are far more Independent voters in this country, than Democrats or Republicans. The two parties are no longer worthy of consistent support, as neither is true to their origins nor their projected ideals.
