Larry Summers said Monday night that he was “deeply ashamed” about his relationship with the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, telling CNN that he would pause all public engagements as he works to “rebuild trust and repair relationships” — but the Harvard University professor added that he will continue teaching as some call for the university to sever ties with him.

New details of Summers’ relationship with Epstein emerged last week when a House committee released emails showing years of personal correspondence between the two men, including Summers making sexist comments and seeking Epstein’s romantic advice.

In the hundreds of messages released, Summers also appeared to place trust in Epstein and confided to him about his pursuit of a romantic relationship with a woman he described as a mentee.

I think it will be a 50/50 situation. Remember, it's a one Party system. Two different sides of the same coin. They've been scratching each other's backs for many decades. What we all see is the partisan facade as portrayed by the mainstream media. What we don't see is the extremely rich, powerful Oligarchy chained together by genetics, marriages, secrets, alliances, contracts, and most of all, the love money and power. Is this state business? Is it related to legislation? Does the Federal government have any role whatsoever in enforcing Florida's or NewYork's laws? Is it more important than solving the riddle of exploding healthcare costs and their impact on the exalted, "hard working Americans"?

What the **** are they doing in Washington, and why?
