Hawaii will accept that bet...No state is perfect.
What is not correct? That is not correct. They get a competitive edge, but more importantly, many AP classes count for transferable college credit. With AP, online, and placing out, our Boy had two years of college before he set foot on campus. Of then he forget to wear both shoes and picked a double major. Dork!
How do you think they manufacture new "Florida Man"s?![]()
DeSantis hints at doing away with Advanced Placement courses in Florida
“Nobody elected them to anything,” he said of the College Board, which administers AP courses.www.tampabay.com
"Tens of thousands of Florida high school students take Advanced Placement courses every year to have a competitive edge heading into college. Now, Gov. Ron DeSantis says he wants to reevaluate the state’s relationship with the College Board, the private company that administers those courses and the SAT exam. And that has some high school students worried. College Board offers eight AP courses in languages and culture; seven science-based courses, such as physics and biology; six math and computer science courses, including calculus; nine history and social science courses; two English courses and three arts courses.
While DeSantis acknowledged the College Board’s long-standing presence in the state, he said “there are probably other vendors who may be able to do that job as good or maybe even a lot better.” The board joins Walt Disney World in the ranks of companies the governor has wrangled with for not adopting conservative stances on education matters. Stella Tucker, another Mitchell High senior, will have taken 18 AP courses by the time she graduates - predicted a strong backlash from Florida teens if the governor and Legislature were to propose scaling back or eliminating AP courses."
I hope DeSantis goes thru with his and ends AP courses or at least find someone else who is more in favor of traditional conservative education and have them administer AP courses..Kids are learning too much Marxist Commie Woke stuff and they need to be taught real conservative education instead...I believe many of these classes that teach history should be wiped clean. The only history that needs to be taught is that there was a war for independence, and America won......that is all kids need to know.....they should also probably know where they belong in our country's caste system....if you are at the bottom, you need to know your place...not very complicated at all.....the rest of the classes should be focused on things that help them in the workplace...not this woke crap...
Well to be clear, the real advantage is cheap college credit. What is not correct?
Desegregation has ruined public education. We use to have a good system for Whites and a bad system for Negroes. Desegreation created one bad system. Now they are teaching to the lowest denominator.![]()

That's about twelve levels of racist bullshit right there. Are you a cracker or Russobot?Desegregation has ruined public education. We use to have a good system for Whites and a bad system for Negroes. Desegreation created one bad system. Now they are teaching to the lowest denominator.
AP courses makes desegregation acceptable to Whites by creating classes that teach at actual grade level. It gives mostly Whites the opportunity to get a real education instead of the shit courses designed to get Negroes high school diplomas that aren't worth the paper they are written on.
DeSantis has the right agenda. Return the schools to teaching at the right level. The Negroes will be pissed because most of them will never pass a course and graduate but it is the right thing to do. Doing away with AP is actually a great step forward. Maybe then we can have real education instead of a two tier system that kisses the ass of the Negroes.
Harvard Should Give You an Honorary Doctorate in IndoctrinationThank you for clearly explaining the MAGA view of education. I can't think of a better way to build opposition to your party.

Ambidextrous FallacyHistory is for uppity blacks and fags.....they always want to remind us of how bad things were, like get over it...that was like 100 years ago or 10...whatever, move on...
Prometheus in ShacklesYour fellow DemoKKKrats in many school districts eliminated AP classes already. Because they're racist, or something.

Gifted classes drive inequality. But what happens when schools get rid of them?
Districts are eliminating gifted classes and instead trying to teach all students together. In some places, it's working — but schools also face challenges.www.nbcnews.com
Around the country, gifted and talented programs have come under fire for exacerbating school systems’ already stark racial and economic segregation. In 2019 in New York City, a group commissioned by Mayor Bill de Blasio, The School Diversity Advisory Group, recommended doing away with all gifted and talented programs, while that same year Seattle attempted unsuccessfully to eliminate its programs as a way to alleviate school segregation.
Thanks for the explanation Capt. Obvious.Uneducated Grammar Proves That College Education Is a Fraud
It satirical. He saying that those who are ignorant of history don't think think they will suffer the consequences of their ignorance. But he's wrong, because he's not referring to true history.
The real error you missed is the usage of "that" to refer to people. Again, this is practiced by both Liberals and fake Conservatives, who have no real standards. It creates a mindset that people are inanimate objects.
Right? And all those electoral college votes!Every day Florida gets closer to just being a retirement community for grumpy boomers
You are confused Moon Bat.That's about twelve levels of racist bullshit right there. Are you a cracker or Russobot?
