Considering the amount of work congress does in Nov. and Dec. of any given year, they wouldn't be able to find a candidate, let alone confirm. I don't believe we will see any earth shaking changes, but I am not sure the democrats won't try some other underhanded garbage before they leave. It is in their DNA.

The republicans have a deep stable of smart, capable candidates waiting in the wings. If Newsom is the best that the democrats can come up with, there will be a republican in the WH in 2028. Whether it is Vance or not is anyone's guess.

Someone on another site did the timeline a few days back.....It would have to be done by the end of today unless the Senate Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks were cancelled.

Newsom is an assclown, used car salesman who has implemented extreme liberal policies in California, which has generated a mass-exodus from the state. California has been hemorrhaging its citizens, and it's not going to get any better under his leadership. His woke policies are exactly why Americans just threw the Democrat party out of the election.
