Over 700,000 acres currently burning in Nebraska, many fires in other states, in spite of the cold in many of them. Is this a preview of the summer? This fire map shows what is going on with the fires right now;

Was it arson or nature?

One of the joys of being retired is watching others at their jobs on YouTube. One of the channels I follow is Trucking with Schmidt out of Iowa. A few weeks ago his destination took him through the area. Here's some of the damaged area, just past the 8:00 mark....

Does it matter? Think, cold weather but with high winds. An energetic atmosphere creating conditions that have not existed in recorded history in those areas, and now when a fire starts, even in very cold weather, it cannot be controlled. And there seem to be a lot of them. Probably most started by downed power lines by the strong winds.

Trump said he would end the wild fires. But he fanned the flames & made them worse.

It's so dry everywhere that crops won't grow. Plus Trump made fertilizer so expensive that farmers can't afford to grow anything anyhow.

Even though Henry Hub shows Nat Gas is not at record highs yet, Spire Gas is charging us record prices. Last winter Nat Gas $3.65 Now $5.06
