This specific slur "genocide" (of 33,000 civilian Gazans killed when 25,000 islamic Hamas regime used them as human shields) is designed to anything but as a slur and diminishing the WW2 unique calamity.
It doesn't matter if one or 2 professors decide to "agree" (with it when seeing photos of kids with diseases unrelated to food shortages) . At the core, that's what it was always about and not related to caring about any lives.
