Why would those working in the DOJ, have to be worried with the new Attorney's General coming in?

Panic has set in at the Department of Justice as lawyers are considering fleeing the agency before Trump loyalists take over and execute his vision, according to reports.
Donald Trump’s scorn for the DOJ has only grown over the last four years as he became the subject of two criminal prosecutions, and he has previously talked of transforming the agency.
If everything that Merrick Garland did was legal, how could there be any problems with the new AG that will replace him? Law is law right, that there was not collusion between Merrick Garland and Jack Smith from NY in trying to have a kangaroo court to get rid of a political opponent like they do in banana republics, right?

They might receive orders to do illegal or unethical things.

Like when Trump tried to get them to sign a false letter about the election in 2020.

It's difficult to explain why DoJ employees would be fearful of the new trump admin because you see everything thru the lens of trumpery. If I were to ask if you'd be uncomfortable with a man with unchecked power becoming your boss after being indicted twice by the agency you work for you'd likely give me the boiler plate, "if they did nothing wrong....." answer.

That's where the difficulty comes in. You believe the mere act of indicting trump is a sign of corruption. I say the DoJ was enforcing the law, some of which trump clearly broke. And I'd point out doing something wrong has nothing to do with it. It's about the perception of disloyalty to King Don.

DoJ officials who stay may be exposed to threats of an IRS audit, demotion, no chance of promotion, harassment, being asked to take a loyalty test (not to the Constitution, to Don), or (if you'll pardon the pun) trumped up charges of wrongdoing.

Personally, I don't think he'll go the judicial route after being laughed out of court 60 times in 2020. He knows there was nothing illegal or unethical about him being indicted. He'll just fire anyone with anything to do with trying to bring him to justice.

♨️GASLIGHT ALERT♨️

“Everyone I’ve talked to, mostly lawyers, are losing their minds,” said one DOJ attorney, who like most of the people interviewed for this article was granted anonymity to speak freely about colleagues and avoid retribution from the president-elect and his allies. “The fear is that career leadership and career employees everywhere are either going to leave or they’re going to be driven out.”

Like what James Comey presented to the FISA court that Hitlery Campaign called the Russian Dossier? That letter you mean?

SCOTUS says the president is above the law. Immunity baby!
For acts that were performed by the office of the President. Like the brown turd Obammy having his DOJ sell fully automatic weapons to Mexican Drug Cartels so 10's of thousands of Mexican citizens could be butchered. Is Obammy immune for his actions?

Well.....you can't shred everything....some of it will be there. It's kinda like spilling grape juice on a white cotton Tee....
