Their policies of expansive government involvement in peoples lives, massive regulations, and a strong association with secularism and social liberalism make it a highly questionable ideology. It has utterly failed in Venezuela and those European countries who embrace democratic Socialism are in turmoil over issues such as unrestricted immigration, tax burden, and unfunded pensions.

Actually, it already has worked on our country. Public education led to our literacy rate. Public health care has raised the health standards of our country. Unemployment insurance protects individuals and the economy. Social security protects us in retirement and protects the economy.

You see, we already have a degree of democratic socialism. So, no, you clearly have zero idea of what it means, or of the difference between socialism and democratic socialism.
