Lefty loves an enemy! Enemies give lefty something they don't naturally have. A raison d'être! That same "raison" becomes the unifying force for any one of a number of marching causes that lefty always needs to feel like he's, well....lefty. Unifying causes are a big thing with lefty.

Recently there is no greater unifying force for lefty than the word Trump and there hasn't been one since the word Bush.

If Trump wants Lefty to do something It's a very simple process. Simply ask them to do the opposite. Trump has often expressed great antipathy for California and really does not wish well for it. Knowing how much they enjoy working exactly against his wishes he cleverly asked them to clean up their forests a few years ago.

Now let's be clear on this... Nothing on the planet could make lefty more determined to let his forests in California become a massive pile of highly ignitable tinder then the unifying force of Trump's request and suggestion to clean it up.

This makes Trump responsible for the fires no?
I mean he knows that Lefty is going to do everything exactly opposite from what he requests. He's been playing Lefty for 8 years and will continue playing them for the next eight most likely.

What should Trump ask them to do next? Should he ask them to take very good care of themselves and please do not point a gun at their own heads?

Should he ask them to please not take a bath in fish blood and go swimming in shark waters?

Should he ask them to please not go to the Arctic and kick a polar bear in the nuts?

I mean think about this for a minute! The possibilities are endless.

Votto was talking about this too. So who's to blame for the Texas flood? Who dropped the ball in Texas this weekend? Governor Abbott or Trump?

Trump is trying to drowned Texas.

He just can't stand all that support.

Some Texas officials are facing scrutiny for the lack of preparedness, despite the National Weather Service sending out several flash flood warnings overnight on Thursday that told people to “move immediately to higher ground” before issuing the rare flash flood emergencies. Former officials at the NWS told The New York Times that, like FEMA, the Trump administration’s major staffing cuts forced remaining employees to spend less time coordinating with local authorities on disaster preparedness.
