Long story short, he is "flirting" with a third term because he is a delusional narcissist, and his minions keep it up because they are all losers with no future beyond the Trump years - Fox can't hire all of them, after all. There. Saved you ten minutes of reading.

The third term bullshit has much in common with other themes that Trump has floated over the years, knowing that the object of his theme is impossible or so unlikely that rational people get the joke, so to speak, while those with TDS lose their shit. See the linked article.

His most impactful flirtation was when he mocked Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau by suggesting that Canada could be adopted as our 51st State. This bit of obvious silliness literally turned the coming Canadian election on its head. The front-runner at the time, Pete Poilievre could not come up with a strategy to counter the faux "tough guy" talk coming from Mr. Carney, and Poilievre lost an election that was his to win. (No criticism of him intended).

The Donald is, to put it mildly, not a nice person. I take no pride in supporting someone who takes very serious subjects with infuriating flippancy. But that does not excuse people who should know better - e.g., to ignore the third term nonsense - from focusing on blither and nonsense. Or acting like making long-needed improvements to the White House is tantamount to assaulting American democracy.

Let's everybody focus on the real stuff and ignore the flotsam and jetsam.

Yet you spend 24 hours a day defending everything he does. Clearly you have mental issues.
