Why such a double standard when it comes to the Jewish state?

Israel has restrained itself in the Israel-Gaza war to limit civilian casualties when at all possible while still achieving its goal to eliminate the Islamic terrorists. (That pager strike was brilliant.) On the other hand, Gaza started the war by deliberating going on the hunt to kill as many innocent Jews as possible, and murdering them in the most torturous ways.

There are always civilian casualties in any war, and the average of combatant-to-civilian deaths is 1:9 - and nobody screams genocide. When Britain and America battled the Islamic State in Mosul, it was a much better 1 to 2.3 - and nobody screamed genocide. And Israel has done better yet: 1 to 1.5 - and people scream genocide.

Or what about the error in which the IDF mistakenly killed the aid workers? (Tragic, but mistakes do happen in the heat of war.) The worldwide reaction was one of contempt and rage toward Israel. Why did we not see contempt and rage when America made a mistake and bombed out a family of 10, including children, who were gathering water?

The double standard is because……Jews.

There is no moral equivalence between Israel and Gazan terrorists. If you weren’t such a lib, you would be willing to admit it.

Israel would NEVER go into a Gazan village in a surprise attack, seeking out innocent children to decapitate or burn to death - keeping their parents alive long enough to see the unspeakable agony of their dying children before setting them on fire or cutting off their heads. it’s more than just a religion - it’s a people. They are supporting the right of a minority to self-determination, given the extreme antisemitism that has resulted in 2000 years of expulsions, persecution, and mass slaughter.
