The reason the Obamacare penalties are grossly unfair is simply because some have no choice. There are millions who just plain cannot afford health insurance now because of Obamacare and need their extra income more than ever should they need to go to the doctor. The penalty just adds to their hardships. They are being forced to pay a fine for not doing something that they are unable to do. People who had their rates doubled and tripled face the fact that any medical costs are out of pocket. The same fucked up law that now makes it impossible for them to purchase a plan will punish them for not purchasing a plan. Thanks, Obama. They used to have coverage and now all they have are fines that limit their ability to pay the doctor. Good job.

This is just one aspect of an unconstitutional law and more proof that the law is harmful. Obama says it's not a tax when talking to people. He has to say that to appease people and he has to declare it a penalty instead of a tax since he didn't go through the House, which he is constitutionally required to do. He has to tell SCOTUS that it is a tax so they can uphold it as legal.

He can't lie to the people, congress and SCOTUS with two different lies and expect them both to float. Either way, it's unconstitutional. Not a tax, SCOTUS shoots it down because you can't force people to participate in commerce. Tax, the House has to pass it. Fucking liberals know the two opposing lies have to be believed, but they refuse to discuss it and still claim it's legal.

In a dependant and enslaved country.
Establishment elites loathe to allow their schemes to be short-circuited by the peasants in the jury box.
The Fugitive Slave Clause of the Constitution ITSELF was effectively nullified by Juries 9/10 times in in the North and more than 7/10 times in the South.

The elite learned from this when they passed the 16th Amendment, and made the income tax nigh impossible to have heard before a Jury of your peers.

It's been classified as a tax.

We can't find any American jurists with the necessary skill-set.

It is not a crime to not pay it: the IRS will simply garnish your return or your income or your property.

Tuff that, 2dA.

So, when people cannot afford insurance and cannot afford the fine, they can lose their homes and more of their wages. Even if they have perfectly legitimate reasons for not being able to afford it, they have no recourse because the tyrant says so?

Since so many lost their insurance and can't afford the new rates, they may be paying a lot out of pocket. Because of that, they might find themselves short of cash when the penalty comes due. So, it's reasonable to kick them to the street now. What kind of government puts people in a no-win situation and claims it's all for the greater good?

Funny that the Dems claim they want to help the poor, yet have no problem making the average Americans suffer. I guess it's true that Obama does not have any desire to help middle class people. We are a dying breed and I know some liberals, commies and socialists are cheering about that.

Well, according to John Roberts, it is part of the taxing power.

According to SCOTUS Dred Scot was not allowed to be a citizen, since that would allow a black man to carry firearms.

Judges are not deities.

The Jury is intended to be the ultimate arbiter of the Constitution, even Jefferson and Adams said so. Even today, not all the powers of Congress, the Prez or the SCOTUS can overturn a not-guilty verdict.

Also, we should mention, that the moment that Government supposedly provides a service, if it fails to provide that service, it CANNOT be sued, because of Sovereign Immunity.

Now, if your PRIVATE health insurance company failed to honor its contract, you could demand that the Government enforce the contract.

In other words, you'll be convicted by default.

What goes through your mind when you type such morally and intellectually bankrupt statements?

By your standards, kiddo, which is only laughable.

The law is written the way it is and it has been upheld.

Send an email to SCOTUS and tell them I got it wrong.
