Why Is Oz Running For Senate?

ask a demofk why they are against Voter ID. One will not get a straight answer. It's how fkd in the head demofks are.

The whole idea of voter ID is to disenfranchise legal voters

Can an answer be any straighter than that?

How does it "disenfranchise" legal voters?

Hint; this is the part where you have to admit you believe black people are too dumb to get photo identification.

Too stupid to get an ID, too stupid to vote.
Can't be any simpler than that.
I'm not going to debate dishonest Republicans about this AGAIN. We all know what it's about

Pure bullshit.
Oh?

Thirty-four states currently have laws that request or require citizens to show some form of identification to vote. The ACLU points out that ten states have strict voter ID laws “under which voters must present one of a limited set of forms of government-issued photo ID in order to cast a regular ballot -– no exceptions.” While for some, having an ID is a normal part of life, more than 21 million Americans do not have government-issued photo identification.

Proponents of voter ID laws argue that it helps prevent in-person voter impersonation. However, numerous studies have shown that this type of fraud is exceedingly rare.

A limited set of approved IDs to get an even more limited approved government ballot? Seems fair.

Most states will help you get a voter or state ID for FREE!!!

There is no excuse to not have proper identification.
So in the ONE state you mentioned...you have to go to the DMV and

To get a free ID card, you will need to take a few documents to your Division of Motor Vehicles office.

There's a long list of documents you can use below, but most people will be fine with a certified birth certificate, a Social Security card and a utility bill or cell phone bill. You'll notice that some records, like a certified birth certificate, satisfy more than one category.

Just be sure to bring originals — photocopies don’t work — and check the box that says “ID for Free” on your application. Once it’s complete, you’ll get a receipt that you can use at the polls until your state ID arrives by mail.

So you have to have an original BC AND several other pieces of ID.

If you have lost your BC?

Oops. No vote

If you can't get off from work or are without transportation or are too ill or old to go?

Ooops/ No vote.

And in many cases these are legal registered voters who have voted for years

Turns out he has a half million in stock in a company involved in Medicare Advantage (and some dubious practices) and wants that program expanded and a payroll tax added to cover those INCREASED costs.

Private companies that offer plans in the Advantage program are marketing very aggressively and they are a SCAM folks.
No he's running because democrat SCUM need to go. Next lie please...

Instead, these laws disproportionately disenfranchise the elderly, the poor, and minorities. A quarter (25%) of African American voting age citizens do not have a government-issued ID, compared to only 8% of white Americans. In fact, a number of voter ID laws across the country have been ruled discriminatory and are “now widely regarded as a means of voter suppression rather than of fraud prevention,” according to Judge Richard A. Posner, a member of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.

A Washington Post study found “a significant drop in minority participation when and where these laws are implemented.” In contrast, white voters are largely unaffected. Below is a chart that shows the turnout gap between different minority populations and the white population. It shows that strict voter ID laws exacerbate the voting gap and that this is particularly true of primary elections.

The Post explains its chart this way: “In general elections in non-strict states [states without strong/any voter ID laws], for instance the gap between white and Latino turnout is on average 4.9 points. But in states with strict ID laws, that gap grows to a substantial 13.2 points.”

Proponents of voter ID laws argue that it helps prevent in-person voter impersonation. However, numerous studies have shown that this type of fraud is exceedingly rare. The Brennan Center for Justice found that the incidence of this type of fraud is between 0.0003 percent and 0.0025 percent and that it is more likely that an American “will be struck by lightning than that he will impersonate another voter at the polls.”

Seriously? If you are having trouble getting an ID to vote, just contact your local representative or Congresscritter. There are volunteers and staff that can aid in all of your concerns and pointless whining.

Just looking for two minutes I even confirmed redneck states like Mississippi and Alabama will provide free voter identification.
Free, simple and easy...

He had a stroke (relatively mild one) and he’s recovering well

Where did you get the idea that Fetterman's stroke was mild?

He hasn't released his medical records, and is obviously suffering cognitively.

Fetterman's self serving statement that his stroke was mild can hardly be taken at face value. After all, he's a demonstrated deceiver, giving the people by his grooming and wardrobe choice that he is some kind of working class tough guy, when he never did a day of manual labor in his life.

This belongs in Conspiracy theories.

Ok, so, I'm a bit confused, if there are so many people who don't have an ID, then how do they drive? How do they cash a check, own or rent a home. How do they verify their identity in any number of situations. How do they sign up for and have utilities, insurance, employment?

I can hardly wait for an answer. I bet you do not get one.
