Because they are irrelevant and Trump is a ratings machine.They are only throwing him softballs when they interview. In fact Donald told them not to give him tough questions. Why would they listen to him?
They were nice to Ann Coulter a while back too because she is a Trump supporter.

The 24 hour news stations are ratings whores. Fox News has gotten away with going after Trump a little bit, because that in itself has brought them ratings since the whole Megyn Kelly thing.
