If anything....these two states have been the most Draconian when it comes to lockdowns....but it doesn't seem to be working....at least not slowing down the spread.

New York....72,161 have recovered but 32,495 have died.
New Jersey....31,405 have recovered but 15,706 have died.

Now look at other states:
Massachusetts....95,390 have recovered but only 8,431 have died.
Pennsylvania....76.780 have recovered but only 7,022 have died.

What are they doing in NY and NJ that's killing all of these people?

How do they define "recovered"? What level of care gets you counted in the numbers?

This is the same issue we are having with figuring out overall infection rates, mortality rates, hospitalization rates, and ICU rates.

It is interesting how the case/death rates in NY/NJ were so out of balance high compared to the rest of the US at a convenient time to hype the need for lock downs. And now their numbers are drastically dropping with no explanation to hype the need for other states to flow strict lock downs.

Fauci and many others are assured a big spike will happen in the fall...

The OP's questions are valid and are a perfect example of what the MSM needs to be asking of Fauci and the CDC.

We also need direct answers as to how things are being defined in counting cases and deaths. How are re-tests separated from new cases? How are deaths determined? Why are we still not getting the numbers on recovered? What percent of people being test are showing symptoms? How will testing and deaths be counted when flu season starts? Should we expect the numbers of flu cases to be traced and made public in the fall? Will this year be a convenient light flu season? (IOW will the flu be counted as COVID) And what happened to children who contracted COVID triggering a rare infection, should we expected more of this type of fear tactics as schools begin to open?

People might be more willing to do things like wear masks if we had a press asking more focused questions as opposed to trying to discredit TRUMP on ever decision. The media worship of Fauci is a joke, if Fauci wasn't a democrat the media would be demonizing him over all the things he has gotten wrong.

NY is the only state with a mass-murdering Governor.

They aren't just the worst in America, those two states have the top two HIGHEST rate of death per capita in the entire world!

Maybe they let the death rate get so high because dead folks ALWAYS vote Democrat...
