Because our (barn), address was located in a majority black community my company was forced to hire based on race. For every white hired, a black had to be next and visa versa. When I got a call from a black friend that they were hiring, I qualified for the job because I am white. I'm no fool, I took the job but was totally embarrassed about the way if got it. Unlike you I don't want to be valued because of my race. Most qualified gets the job.
