the Japanese baseball league has many non Japanese playing...I wonder if there ever was a Japanese MLB team if they would allow themselves to be bastardized with "Gaijin", you know, those of non-Japanese birth?
MLB has a National League and an American League. Canada doesn't fit either one. From what I could gather all the Jay's players were from someplace else.
I have no use for the Dodgers but anyone who beat the Jays tickles me to death.
Odd though, I'd not mind seeing a Japanese MLB team.

the Caribbean area has lots of ball players too......especially from the Dominican Republic,Venezuela and Cuba....Apparently you are unaware that professional baseball in the United States has an actual "WORLD" series. Canada and Japan both compete against the US. It would be pretty arrogant to claim you are having a world series and only allow US states. More nations need to learn the game and get involved in the baseball competition, so that it would be more accurately a world series.
