Why I Admire Donald J Trump and Will Happily Vote For Him in This Election

Donald Trump is not a perfect candidate nor will he make a perfect President, but such things are only abstract anyway. Who is perfect for anything? We watch TV shows and movies and read books about these perfect heroes who always have the perfectly perfect thing to say at the perfect time and guess what? That is perfectly horse shit.

Reality does not work that way. What events and experiences in a persons life that makes them exceptional also gives them flaws. There does not exist the person that consists of only virtues with no flaws. That is fantasy.

Does Trump have flaws? Sure he does, and I would start with him being a Yankee, but I learned a long time ago to not hold the circumstances of birth against anyone. Not everyone can be born a Texan, else where would we get the losers to trounce from time to time?

But back to Trump. That man has had a rough and challenging life, believe it or not. The construction world is not a gentle one with no safe zones there. You have to deal with some hard headed people in that profession and even harder headed competition. While real estate and construction are tough industries that have swallowed many a good man whole, the New York real estate market is perhaps the toughest market on the planet. And Donald J Trump not only survived, he thrived in it.

Now people have laid some truthful charges at Trumps door for his business practices, claiming he has engaged in a lot of lawsuits and refused to pay many of his contractors, but consider three things on this; 1) these builder types have to deal with some pretty rough folks who will find a legal grip to put on you and they will ride you into the ground EACH AND EVERY TIME. Trump has had to deal with a lot of these kinds of people, so yes, that does involve more lawsuits than if he had been selling shoes at the mall. 2) He has had to refuse payment to people who have failed to meet the criteria of their contracts. That is why they have contracts. 3) If Trump was excessively harsh and cheated people enough to get a rep for it, he would have found no one willing to do business with him, but that is far from the case. So I take these claims against Trump as a sign of his success and good business dealings and figure most of the whiners are deserving of their loss.

But I say I admire Trump, not merely respect him, but admire him. Why? Well because the man is exceptional in many fields of endeavor, he has a great family and he has done something that few ever do; he has beaten the best of a highly skilled profession (called "politics") and he has done it as a complete amateur.

Trump has done the equivalent of walking in off the street and winning a professional billiards tournament without ever having played in one before. Or a professional chess tournament. That NEVER happens, folks for good reasons, in real life because the pros are full time gifted people at these things, and an amateur does not have the craft, the experience or the training to match the pros, much less beat them soundly as Trump has done by winning the GOP nomination and probably the Presidency against 17 pro competitors who have done little else but run for office their whole lives.

Trump comes from a world where RESULTS are the only thing that matters. You can believe in Big Foot or Communism, it does not matter as long as you bring your project in on time and under budget. And he not only survived but he thrived there. And he also learned how to work a crowd and the mass media in his TV program, which helped him to understand how to put his message out in unconventional ways that he really did need to get around the Major Media Embargo placed on him.

We can desperately use men like him to shake some of the encrusted barnacles off our ship of state.

We desperately need men like him to rework our disastrous international relations and our self destructive trade treaties. We need men like him to run out the criminal aliens and to set this nation back on track to being that "shining city on a hill".

Donald Trump is not the most erudite man on the planet, but you dont get ACHIEVERS from reading books.

You get such men from the frontiers of the real world where it takes sweat, brains, brass and balls to survive.

That man is Donald J Trump and the USA needs him to drain the swamp and rebuild our nation's macro-institutions to be deserving of the great promise the USA once was and can be again.

We need Trump to deliver what he has promised and only he can give us; faith in ourselves, fervor for what is right, and the energy to lead us there.

We need a true leader like Trump.

Hugely.

You should have just said, "I'm a colossal dumbfuck, please make fun of me." And saved us all from having to read your drivel.

Perhaps you aren't looking at him as critically as you might when looking at his business affairs. His wealth probably has as much to do with his celebrity as anything else. I don't find anything particularly admirable about celebrity.
He has made some wealth from his celebrity but the vast majority of it comes from the way he does business as a builder, where he spots bad real estate projects, buys them out pennies on the dollar, then turns them into successful projects.

I know that is a hard thing for a Democrat to accept, but Trump has actually earned the vast majority of his money.

Ummmm..... being on the receiving end of Daddy throwing money at you isn't "self-made", idiot.
You should read the parable of the talents (what a man does with what he has been given). Did he squander what he'd been given? Did he bury it? Did he save it? Or did he multiply what he was given. To the latter, Christ says, "WELL DONE, good and faithful servant."

But then the parable of the talents is in the Bible. You're probably not aware of those concepts.

484. That's how many threads you've started and you haven't even been here a year.
Are you paid by the GOP? You should be, based on all your thread titles. A true trumpeter
I'd say you are the trum-peter.
People that cannot deal with reality quite often deal with their own flaws instead and then project them on to everyone else.

Wow, you are quoting the Bible to a leftist?

You must have plenty of time on your hands to engage in such a waste of time.

Perhaps you could take up golf instead? IT is likely far more productive.

City of Cleveland Negotiates with Lucifer

Cleveland : We want a Championship

Devil: OK but you will have to host the GOP Convention

Cleveland : That is OK

Devil : and the GOP will nominate Trump

Cleveland : We are going to need two Championships to do this say NBA and Major League Baseball

Devil: Hmm... I dunno that's kinda steep.

Cleveland: OK we'll throw in the football season.

Exclusive: More than 100 lawsuits, disputes over taxes tied to Trump and his companies

Exclusive: Trump's 3,500 lawsuits unprecedented for a presidential nominee

I read that Trump has more lawsuits against him than the top 5 largest real estate companies in New York combined.

Art of the Steal: This Is How Trump Lost $916M and Avoided Tax

When it comes to scams and lies and ripping off people, the Clintons are innocent babes next to Trump. What the GOP accuse the Clintons of is nothing compared to what Trump actually does. That's why his base is so proud.
No one said any such thing about Trump BEFORE he decided to run for President against the Democrats.

That you believe all that rubbish says more about your gullibility than it says anything about Trump.

Actually -- that you so readily swallow Rump's well-known con artistry speaks volumes.

No, I'm not talking to the Clinton zombies. The lurkers are always MANY times the number of posters. I only use the idiocy of the left to make points to reach the READER -- not the Leftist poster.

Not a democrat and don't believe wealth is a value that qualifies one for the Presidency, regardless how it is obtained. Which is questionable, even in the world of real estate celebrity must have value.

Whelp -- it's been analyzed that if he had simply taken all those millions (which were made off the government in the first place) and invested it convetionally and just let it grow ---- he would have ended up with about the same amount he has, if not more.

But that's really not the point. The money isn't itself the goal -- it's just a tool to get to the goal.
The goal, of course, is incessant attention-seeking and self-worship immersed in a sea of self-delusion. Ostentatiousness is one way to get there. Inane TV shows are another. Incessant controversies and troll tweets do it too. That's why we had to endure the endless onanism (there's a biblical reference for ya) of inane stuff like this:

--- not to mention the endless edifice complexes, ornate casino monstrosities and various never-ending "pay attention to me" desperations.

And a presidential campaign gives a narcissistic attention whore the maximum there is. At least---- until the election. Then it tails WAY off.

That's why the worst is yet to come.

Trump is a beacon of competence indeed, love him or hate him... Whatever he touches seems to turn into gold.
If that were true, he would be paying income tax on his profits. Evidently, he lost so much money in one year that he did not have to pay taxes for 10 years or more.
10 years? Where did you get that from? But if you keep reinvesting you are building equity instead of funneling money to government. I do it myself on a much smaller scale with tools. So you either invest in your business or the government to redistribute. Which do you think a smart businessman does?

Knowing nothing about Trump still doesn't stop you from telling us what you know, does it? LOL!

You know the saying "People who can't "teach" and People who can "Do""
Trump has proven he is a "Doer"

Oh poster please. Rump has never actually held a job in his life, let alone toiled.

I stopped reading there. Reading self-delusion makes me throw up. Face it, you're a Rumpbot because you're an authoritarian-passive looking for some Daddy figure to tell you what to do and you're driven by emotion at the expense of intellect.

Thought I'd sum it up for ya. Saves words.
Proof positive of the hand out mentality inbreed in many these days.. The Class envy.. The you owe me crowd who refuses to get of their asses and get a dam job..

The wealth is not what qualifies Trump for POTUS, IMO, else any slacker that inherits billions of dollars would be similarly qualified or goofball like Cuban.

It is Trumps ABILITY to create and acquire wealth that is impressive, else we would have at least 100 million billionaires.

That ABILITY is what qualifies Trump to be President.

I've had jobs since I was 16, Goober, because I earn my own and didn't stand around with my hand out. Even my first job flipping hamburgers alone puts me one ahead of Rump. And that was in the Johnson Administration.
