Not one of them looked like that, it's bullshit, the flats were owned by a housing association who provide housing at affordable rents for poorer people, after Thatcher stopped building Council houses housing associations took over, it's been a disaster, contractors at Grenfell ignored safety concerns about the cladding mainly on the grounds of cost, the building inspector and the local Westminster council signed the work off, so a lot of people were responsible for this and not one of them has been held responsible and gone to jail, the UK have a history of covering these things up and whitewashing them, like bloody Sunday in Northern Ireland, the Hillsborough disaster and the recent post office scandal, and there are more.

This image shows one of the flats that were rented out by the housing association at market price of £2000 per Month that reflected the price of living in London,other flats were for social housing at affordable rents, it was all part of a multi million £££ upgrade which included the cladding, the flats were built as Council housing originally.

The sad fact is that a growing number greenies in America or the UK lack common sense

The fire at Grenfell Tower rapidly spread because of a chimney effect as the air was sucked up the back of the insulation. Shortly after that, building control wanted the cavity at the wall plate height fully closed off on new houses and extensions with loft insulation so the chimney effect is eliminated. Kingspan insulation boards are fitted to the inner leaf which has foil on both sides which can apparently easily burn quickly.

I wonder whether in the Crans Montana case in Switzerland somebody goes to jail ….
