Why doesn't the Republican Party mimic the racial and ethnic diversity we see in the USA?

Because they don't put forth policies that enable or help these groups of people. They abandoned being the party of the working people a long time ago.

Its still for the most part a high;y white party

Repubs lag behind and let Dems take the mantle on issues. However it was the Progs who separated people by cultural and ethnic backgrounds. And used it masterfully to the point they are on the cusp of violentless revolution to a form of government we have that mimics many of the rest of the nations in the Western Hemisphere. And the same problems that come with it will come here. Which will make problems worse for the Western Hemisphere as we will be markedly weaker. And governments will be less stable because of it.

Since the McKinley/Bryan election the GOP has stood for the benefit of the wealthy and just suckered working people into voting for them with blatant lies.

Why are democrats always trying to deflect from the fact that they are the party of slavery?

The existence of identity politics keeps most major prisons manageable, until they blow!
And when they do, it gets ugly, real ugly!

The same way Republicans always gloss over the fact that the parties switched identities in the mid 1960's and those southern Democrats (who advocated for said slavery)..became Republicans. See how that works?

You can continue to tell this lie, but it will not magically make it true.

The big switch is a big lie.

I read somewhere recently that if aliens landed and all they did was watch commercials, they would believe that Blacks were in the majority and had most of the money! :auiqs.jpg:

Really? It's 2020. Which party is protecting confederate flags and monuments? The blue states voted for Lincoln then and the dems now.
