Democrats are pushing this COVID-19 scare to the limit. Everything they've been trying to get by other means is so easy for them to get now, thanks to an invisible threat called Coronavirus....or better described as the flu.
Several conferences are cancelling their seasons thanks to the push by the media to make it look like COVID-19 is still a growing threat. They are actually reporting that the CDC is now predicting how many will die every month until the election. We all have to wear our commie masks like good party members even when we're alone outdoors, and even then thousands are predicted to die by the CDC. So of course anything that will take our minds off of the virus is going to be discouraged.
We can still riot in the streets with the full support of the Democrat/communist party, but we cannot afford to play college football this season in a safe manner. But what will cancelling college sports do to the schools and even the towns involved. Well, that's a good question. Why is it okay to tear down a city but not okay to try to get back to normal?
Well, getting back to normal is racist......even tantamount to murder, if you ask some people. This is the beauty of it. Democrats can do whatever the Hell they want, but you can't go to church, you can't hold a 911 celebration, you can't have a cookout, you can't go to the movies, you can't even walk around outside without a mask on.
But what is the economic impact on those conferences that have decided to cave in to leftist fearmongering? I don't expect the usual suspects on USMB to read the information at these links, but this will explain what Democrats are up to, and why they want to cancel sports in America:
