I don't think Tucker's plan was to interrogate Putin, as many 'interviewers' do, but to give the west a deeper look into Putin's thoughts. I think he succeeded pretty well. Tucker also has the gift of not interrupting his interviewee as so many do.

Every man, and every nation are responsible for their actions and their fate. If you live between Russia and Germany, if you occupy both Russian and German lands, if you discriminate and abuse both ethnic Russians and ethnic Germans on "your" territory, if you believe France and England who push you to fight simultaneously against Russia and Germany, if you are so stupid and self-blinded by your national pride... Hitler has a choice - to invade, or not to invade, discrimination or not discriminate Jews. And Germany had paid for his choice. Pilsudski had choice - to invade or not to invade, discriminate or not discriminate Jews, Russians, Ukrainians, Belarussians, Germans, Lithuanians, etc. And Poland had paid for his choice.

Putin is a former KGB officer. That means he’s a master at manipulating and exploiting events for desired outcomes.

Simple, Carlson is not a journalist. He is an entertaining populist...and a treasonous opportunist. Journalist do not allow those they interview to lie and distort facts. They ask hard questions. Tucker did not. He was and is Putin's puppet.

This whole Putin is a master manipulator thing is tiresome and boring. The United States has had CIA officials and generals like Dwight Eisenhower serve the highest political positions. And they don’t get torn apart in the media, as being some kind of “master manipulators” when talking with foreign journalists.

It’s getting absurd at this point. Americans who want to support Ukraine should be able to go fight and die if needed for that country. Same with Americans who support Russia. Just like it was in the Spanish Civil War. Russia has zero interest in attacking America.

Russians are beautiful people and they’re getting a garbage treatment. The sanctions against Russians are disgusting.

The average Russian soldier is brave and courageous in Ukraine. Same with your average American soldier in Iraq in 2003. We might not agree with the two wars, but those are the undeniable facts. God bless the Russian people is still tall in ww2

I just read this and thank you for your post. Your post comparing Putin to Lincoln just confirms what I suspected all along: MAGAs want to see the revitalization of the Soviet Empire/CCCP. Trump's declaration that he would encourage Putin to invade Europe is just part of the MAGA sellout of our allies and this nation's principles. We know where MAGAs loyalty lies.
