That concepts like being gay means you're a better person somehow and deserve extra attention.

And they tell them nothing is their fault. All of their problems are because of racism, republicans, boomers, climate change and so on.

Basically democrats praise them for doing nothing, tell them they deserve everything, and blame none of their problems on them.

Not a teenager, but I have spent the last 30 years watching Republicans avoiding addressing any and all major looming problems in the country while pursuing policies that actually make them worse.

Republicans, being more heavily concentrated in older generations, don't really care because by the time these problems really blow up, they'll be dead.

If you're truly thinking about the health of the country and the world 50 years down the line, you're really not voting Republican.
