I am neither lefty or righty but I think I know a few of each. On this forum, I think the far larger number of vicious right wing factions inhibit self critique by either side. I have seen other sites where people are more diplomatic and objective in their personal political analyses!

What president fought two wars and put a major medical program on the country's credit card leaving office with more money in debt than anyone to date? They are not 50 pints ahead.... Democrats have to teke responsibilty for why Republicans get any votes from people who earn less than $75k a year.

They also think they have to support more moderate GOPs in non winables, that way things can acyaully be done and they have less to fear from the Right wing taliban...
