Trump? Obama oversaw the drop in spot oil prices from $105/bbl in June of 2014 to $30/bbl in Feb 2016. The first thing Trump did was skyrocket them to Sept 2018 and $70. And the only way he got them to drop was by handing the US the greatest recession since the Great Depression. Yeah....thanks for "taking care of us" Mr. Trump....now where are Obama's oil prices that you screwed up the first time...and haven't given us back yet in 5 years of being in office trying?

Obama drove oil to over $100 when he proclaimed replacing fossil fuel dependency with wind/solar/wave and by reinstating the drilling moratorium that was allowed to expire a couple of months before his election. Price of gas in January 2009, $1.35. Within a year it was over $4.00.
Fracking enhanced supply and the price dropped to the 2014 level you referred to. Obama opposed fracking but couldn’t prevent it because they were preexisting operations.
Trump energy policy expanded domestic fossil fuel production and oil remained low until the Biden regime repeated the Obama fuel fascism.
Price of gas $1.89 in January 2021 and it immediately spiked after biden’s EO’s on no new fossil fuel extraction leases and proclamations of prohibiting combustion engine cars in the near future.
