Aimee Bock, convicted of masterminding the staggering $250 million welfare fraud scam in Minnesota, gave an interview to CBS. As the head of the infamous nonprofit Feeding Our Future, Bock, 45, splurged millions of federal dollars intended to support hungry children during the COVID-19 pandemic on luxury cars, designer handbags, and properties worldwide.
Bock oversaw a network of fraudsters — almost all Somali and East African — that took advantage of a bill co-signed by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) waiving some requirements for school meal programs during the pandemic.
Bock interviewed from her jail cell in Sherburne County Jail in Minnesota, claimed state officials continued approving and paying claims even after concerns were raised about potential fraud. She blamed her woes on local officials.
“We relied on the state. We told the state, this [meal] site is going to operate at this address, this time, and this number of children. The state would then tell us that’s approved,” Bock said, adding that Omar was among the officials who would often visit the meal sites.
She also was interviewed at the jail cell by Fox News. Bock alleged the state approved program sponsored and was responsible for monitoring claims, but officials repeatedly failed to investigate or stop suspicious companies after she flagged them.
"I honestly believe Keith Ellison and Gov. Walz need to be held accountable. There needs to be an investigation done. If they weren't aware, that's concerning," she told Fox News.
In his typical buffoon way, Tim Walz, dodging all the facts, continues his idiotic defense by diverting blame to President Trump.
A statement from Keith Ellison's office tried to dodge blame by demonizing Aimme Bock, and attacking her credibility, as a convicted criminal.
One thing here might bear a look. Criminal or not, what Aimee Bock is saying is hard to deny. Both Walz & Ellison were in political positions to stop all this fraud. It was their job to PROTECT Minnesotans from being defrauded. They did not do that.
So who's telling the truth ? Ellison is on record blaming Aimme Bock & claiming innocence. At best I'd say Ellison is guilty of being negligent, if not outright complicit. So Ellison wants to play the game of character assassination (against Aimme Bock). Guess what folks. Two can play that game.
Ellison, a Muslim, is a former member of the US Congress, & when he was sworn in, he refused to be sworn in with the Bible. He wound up being sworn in on the Koran, instead. This was sharply criticized by a member of Congress & US president candidate Virgil Goode. Goode correctly pointed out that the Bible requires TRUTH ("Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor"), and this is the purpose of using it in the swearing in ceremony. The Koran, however, has no such requirement. In fact, the Koran actually ADVOCATES lying ("Taqiyya") as long as the lying might somehow benefit Muslims.
This puts Keith Ellison in perhaps as bad a credibility status as Aimme Bock, if not worse, who has no Muslim ideology burden weighing down on her.
