All that will happen is a bunch of grandstanding...republicans suck at questioning. Democrats are more coordinated in questioning and clearly work together in controlling the messaging coming out of these type hearing, regardless of if they're in the minority or not.

I was watching some of the oversight committee proceedings and the scope and arrogance of these two are appalling. It seems like the US has been in a constant state of constitutional crisis for 50 years, this time it's both war powers and States' rights. It looks like charges have been referred to the DoJ (do they still call it that?) for review. I know most of these committee hijinks are posturing and re election material, and add to the illusion of a working system. What do you see resulting from this? An early retirement, deport a few witnesses, more money to shut some people up? I can't see this being allowed to progress, it would affect more than one state, and more than a few politicians and federal officials. It does however shine a brief beam of light into how we are 40 trillion in debt.
