Mitch Daniels has a good following, and I don't think his concerns that prevented him from running for President would weigh as heavily in the VP slot.

I can't see him taking Ryan, as Ryan has become the face of some very unpopular proposed cuts. (Incidently, I think Ryan is one of the few adults in the room in the GOP Caucus.)

I love this shit.

Ryan is a petulant, dishonest, political hack.

He's also one of the few guys being honest enough to admit that we have to curb the growth of entitlements if we are going to ever make a dent in the debt.

Have you ever watched him answer questions about that budget? He is unable to discuss those cuts in detail. He is grandstanding.
