Zone1 Who were the wives of Cain and Abel?

You mean married men couldn't be murdered?

Of course they could be murdered. But when Seth was born, Eve said "For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew."

So, if Abel was married, he had no sons. When Cain slew Abel, Satan was attempting to destroy the Seed line from which the Seed would come who would destroy him. (Gen. 3:15) First prophecy in the Bible upon which all other prophecy is built.

I forgot to give the verse for Seth who replaced Abel as the Seed. My apologies.

(Gen. 4:25)

does it not say that Abel was the first person?
did God mix up things?
No, he didn't.
In chapter one He talks about making MANKIND. and He did
In Chapter two He's talking about that first man, Adam.
Nothing complicated about it

It is also 1/3 HISTORY and 1/3 PROPHECY
The Bible is a complex collection of writings with diverse literary genres. While some parts are widely accepted as historically accurate, others require careful interpretation and may not be intended to be read as literal history.

Each book, chapter, passage. etc, must be viewed on a case by case basis. There is no “one size fits all” way to interpret the passages. Context is important and so is literary type or style which include: historical, legal, prophetic, wisdom, poetry, epistles, gospels and apocalyptic.

Some passages use allegory and embellishment. Some don’t. The goal it to decipher the intent of the author’s descriptive portrayal of reality.

who has an answer to that?
#1 .. The Bible does not say that Abel had a wife.
#2.. A straight forward reading of Genesis would indicate that Cain found his wife from among a population that pre existed Adam and Eve. Specifically, he found his wife in the land of Nod, east of Eden..
(Gen 4:16-17 NASB95) Then Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and settled in the land of Nod, east of Eden. Cain had relations with his wife and she conceived, and gave birth to Enoch; and he built a city, and called the name of the city Enoch, after the name of his son.
