I think a little differently --- I think the idea is to throw EVERYTHING decent out, to throw all of society into chaos, because only in chaos is opportunity. The only way to bring in communism is to delete everything that was there before, and that's what they want, so that is what they are doing.

Now it's taken on a political twist on account of extremism in America that is promoted by the changes being made to accommodate fascist ideals.

Something must be done to stop it but the narrator only suggests, but doesn't make any specific suggestions. It's left for his appreciative audience to take it into their own hands.

But he has explicitly rejected an attitude of 'live and let live'!
