An interesting piece from a site I've followed for some time – but just now figured out how to get the blog on my reader.

There are 347 bills (including joint resolutions) that the House has passed that the Senate hasn’t yet picked up (352 if concurrent resolutions are included). But the number doesn’t really tell us much.

Well, it makes an interesting point – leaders of both houses only bring up bills for a vote that they think their party will vote for.

Good article. How's come only Republicans make the claim that the bills are being "blocked" by Harry Reid?

Basically there are a bunch of "symbolic" bills passed back and forth between the House and Senate that everyone understands will never pass. That is not "blocking" any ones bill.

That's just Congress wasting time, drawing a paycheck.

Of course it goes both ways. Teaper propaganda on this forum is ridiculous...they will say or fabricate anything to discredit the ****** President of the United States.
