Who is the GOAT POTUS?​

That's easy.

Abraham Lincoln is number one.

Followed by George Washington.

Followed by Ronald Reagan.

I'd put our convicted felon, twice impeached, current president somewhere around...47.

Yup. There are a number from the past. Good old George Washington is referred to as the father of our country and the first president and he did help beat the British. That automatically puts him in the running, as well as Thomas Jefferson, who wrote the Declaration of Independence. Past that, Abraham Lincoln kept our country together during the civil war and ended slavery. Also in the running is FDR, the only president ever elected to both a third term and a fourth term. That feat may never be beaten.

Fast forward to Reagan who, at the time, ended the Cold War without there being a war and was very popular around the entire country. Past Reagan, there are really no contenders, with Trump being a possibility, depending on how the future goes. Half the country literally hates his guts so that is a drawback. But, even so, it's possible history could remember him quite well. Only the future knows the ultimate outcome of Trump.

Essentially Trump has the opportunity now that Obama had in 2008/2009.

He can legitimately be a president of change as he promised. Obama promised but only delivered a heavy dose of unmet promises, boondoggles for donors, zero accountability for any executives who orchestrated the banking/mortgage crisis, the expansion of China and Russia without any consequences, the crossing of red lines without consequences.

Obama was an activist turned president based on media promotion. Similar to musical artists who don't create great music but who have the best marketing teams behind them to promote them and generate album sales. They tried the same approach with Harris and to a lesser extent Hillary but voters weren't buying it anymore. That ship has largely sailed, for now.

You can expect the Establishment to try and control/manipulate media influencers now. Bet on it. Especially when election time rolls around. Remember this post and think of all the big named podcasters and see how they act towards politicians come election time.

Deep pockets learn fast so they will quickly expand beyond CNN and others and put their money to work elsewhere if needed.

Obama MEANT to do great things. Did he achieve what he wanted?

No leader can be great until they maintain independence and do right by his nations citizens. It's not easy, it takes courage and conviction to actually walk the walk, not just talk the talk.
