Cuomo had choices...but he was falling in love with being on TV each day and dropped the ball...that was when Trump told him to shut up and get to work....but I think its worse than that...he wanted high numbers of dead....a nursing home?.....what else could it have been but that?....just like when Pelosi told folks in SF to come to China town for the parade...who knows how many folks died due to her little televised show.....

It was stupid. I got to say most of our leaders have been deadly stupid (multiple times) during this pandemic, but I got to go with righteous stupidity, not actually malevolent intent, including trump. Disappointed in Cuomo, because he sounded so logical, professional, supportive of the science, and personally concerned, but then finding out about this action and doubling down on the action. They should have built places where they would’ve been successfully quarantined. It’s inexcusable to send them amongst the most vulnerable population. If Trump had done the same I have no doubt you’d be calling for his head.

If Cuomo felt he needed those beds for very sick patients then find another place to temporarily quarantine the senior living folks with mild symptoms. The patients with mild symptoms don’t even need to be quarantined for a long time. 72 hours without a fever and you should be good to go. 2 weeks to er on the side of caution. A lot of deaths could have been avoided.

I just wonder if Cuomo and others know exactly how evil that would be--sending a coronavirus patient into a home for elderly people who are prone to viral infections.
