Creating chaos, getting the population to react to it, is the game of the true rulers.
They care little for the left or the right. Just the agenda. Having the population balkanized and not talking to each other plays right into that agenda.
While not engaging is not as bad as attacking, it is certainly NOT what Kirk would have wanted out of his death.

I have to admit, I never paid much attention to Kirk before this assassination.
The truth is though, now the algo feeds me all sorts of content he made, debating and discussing with leftists.
Are there those that don't want to listen and respond in a constructive way? Yep, I'll not disagree with that observation.
. . but the truth is, the majority of Americans are respectful and engage in legitimate debate and discussion in a meaningful way with integrity.
We need not agree with their POV, but throwing out a composition fallacy to shut down all debate is probably not constructive.

From what I have seen from your posts and I hope you can see from mine, neither one of us were followers of Kirk's.
So, I don't see why you might conclude that I am in any way obliged in any way to tie my reaction to his murder, by HIS views instead of my own.

I almost teared up after thinking about that guy dying like that in front of his family and 1000s of strangers. Just unbelievable the times we are living in. A day before 9/11 too, a reminder via video that the world remains full of evil.
Trump received a second chance to do what was right for America and the world. Charlie didn't get that second chance but his legacy is probably going to be far larger now. Hopefully he is with G-d now.
It's just so horrific and I cannot fathom people celebrating. You don't have to cry for him if you don't like him, you can take the high road and simply not say anything at all, go on with your day. I didn't watch him much, didn't agree with all of his stances that I heard, but I would never want that outcome for him or anyone regardless of opinions.
To actually celebrate and/or blame him for his own death, the excuses just don't add up. I heard the TMZ employees celebrating (and excuses made for them) and I can't help but think about the Groupthink cult some are members of.

This stuff isn't horrific to me, because I saw it coming as soon as Democrats started talking about threats to democracy. They knew what they were doing.

I truly hope you are wrong. My gut tells me this began after Obamas second election run when he became desperate and employed division rather than unity and it worked for him.
It is time for America to return back to its founding principles. No need to be violent (unless in defense of oneself), but it's time to take back principle, morality and G-d. G-d is the light and the West shouldn't forget how important the Torah is to our civilizations history.

Because when folks are upset at the end of the life of someone, the best way to honor that life is to practice what they preached and believed, rather than doing the opposite of what that person stood for.
What ARE you tying your reaction to? It certainly isn't based on what Kirk stood for.
