Certainly I agree that concepts such as 'affirmative action' are ideologically socialist to some extent, particularly given Stalin himself triumphed the line of 'many peoples, one nation', which is not a million miles away from the concept.
It's just such a shame that concepts such as 'affirmative action' have been well intentioned and genuinely positive, and have no doubt helped a lot of minority kids into colleges etc, but have also come as a part of policies which have ghettoised perfectly decent neighbourhoods.
But reducing everything to colour is not particularly useful - there are plenty of white people we wouldn't want as neighbours either, and plenty of black people who we would want at neighbours.
