I couldn't believe the headline when I read it. Reporters exhausted from doing their job. They had a 4-year rest from the non-White House pressers. They sat back while Peter Doocy did the heavy lifting.

The White House press corps is already "exhausted" at the outset of the second Trump administration.

"Anybody who went through it the last time remembers how nonstop it was. It ends up kind of becoming all-consuming and taking over your life. It wears you down," New York Times White House correspondent Peter Baker told Vanity Fair on Wednesday, adding that "you have to expect that covering a big story is, by definition, taxing because it’s important."

Reporters commented on how President-elect Trump was already kicking off a hectic news cycle with his rapid policy and cabinet nomination announcements.

I think that the incoming administration should do away with a Q&A session at the briefing.

Simply come to the podium, make the statements that are needed to let the American people know what this going on, and then walk out.

No on needs a media to explain things to us. It is pretty insulting and regardless of a Q&A session or not, the media will print their lies and spin, regardless.

I do think that this incoming admin needs to be held to a transparent standard. To that issue, they should be required to open a website and provide information on their daily talking points, complete with sources to back up any statements.

What's so "exhausting"? They just make up shit about President Trump and his people anyhow.

I guess with the minimal amount of gray matter in the craniums of a typical Lame Stream media matter, all of their imagination gives a good workout to their small number of neurons.

.

That's worth considering.

Look at what a ridiculous farce the Q&A has been for the last 4 years.

Trump will sit NY Times and the MSM in the back of the room

kinda like a the defense of an NFL team that couldn't stop the run game of a team that relies heavily on rushing yards and then lost badly to said team that dominated time of possession .. they are worn down from defending the Briben Harris admin and then losing the election ..

Then they should learn to code.

Reporters will have to think of their own questions instead of being give to them from the Whitehouse. Must be exhausting.

1. No need to have a presser if you aren't gonna answer questions;

and

2. If you don't need the media to explain things, then why bother watching them?

To the extent that the media is exhausted, it is because they are still reporting like it is campaign season and not like you know, it is over. They have nothing new to report about senile joe and his drunk sidekick so they are stuck rehashing the election until January 20th. They'll get over it.
