Whistleblower protections no longer exist

According to this administration, there is no protection and there never was.

And there never will be.

A whistleblower was fired from the NIH citing constitutional authority to do so.

This raises the question. Under the Trump administration, the policy is that Congress can’t prevent them from firing anyone for any reason. SCOTUS has allowed this to happen, with one notable exception.

So it raises the question, do whistleblower protections exist? Are they constitutional?

But it's different because Trump

This looks like AI generated slop.

The point of the thread is that the Trump administration doesn’t believe whistleblower protections are constitutional.

was she fired for being a whistleblower?

it's an easy question, and a simple answer.

yes or no?

I didn’t know anyone was for ending whistleblower protections until now.

This is what Trump has done to us.
Progressives destroyed a lot of people with Covid. Murdered them also. Forced people to choose their livelihood or be fired. What is alarming is that there are religious end time books and movies that tell us how these things happen. And that does not mean it is all Progressives either. On the contrary. Many empowered Republicans are of the same quality. Do not trust the true weasel. Do not trust those in the same employment who screw with their own if not justified as for clique reasons. Do not trust the empowered in any area for using the private side to destroy anyone who raises a voice in any way. For there is some sympathy in physical disabilities. There is very few in psychological ones obtained positively working in many fields.

It’s not an easy question at all. It would take lawyers months of discovery and depositions to get close to the answer.

But it doesn’t matter why she was fired.

Does it?

of course it does.

was she fired because she was a whistle blower, or because she shot her boss.

does being a whistleblower give her total immunity?

do her supervisors need to walk on eggshells as long as she decides to work there?

do you have ANY common sense?

or did TRUMP steal that too?

Not in the least.

You did say this though:

So you already showed it doesn’t actually matter.

The law says that whistleblowers can’t be retaliated against, but this administration doesn’t think that law is constitutional.
So you already showed it doesn’t actually matter.
it doesn't affect me, why should I be concerned?

do you think whistleblowers should get total immunity?

shoot someone?

"You can't fire me, I have 'whistleblower immunity'"

steal product from the company?

"You can't fire me, I have 'whistleblower immunity'"

your stance is ridiculous.

Whistleblowers don’t get any immunity anymore. That’s the topic here.

“It doesn’t affect me why should I be concerned”, well champ, I assumed you’d want federal employees to be able to be whistleblowers without fear of retaliation. Or are you more of the “everyone should keep their mouth shut kind of dude”.

You seem prone to avoid thinking about problems. Just hide under the blankets.

you seem to see nothing but what you want to see.

but then, I knew that long before this thread.

You all keep brining up irrelevant off topic distractions because you don’t want to address what Trump’s doing to the presidency.

Can the president fire anyone for any reason or can Congress limit his ability to do so?

That’s the question.

they are only irrelevant to YOU.

you CLAIM this woman was fired because she was a whistleblower, yet you show NO proof that is why she was fired.

you lost this argument long ago.

stop bothering me.

The claim is that there is no such thing as whistleblower protections. The Trump administration does not think Congress can tell them who to fire and who not to fire.

So before we ever spend any time trying to figure out why she was fired, first we should decide if even matters.

Im sorry that this simple and straightforward logic doesn’t make sense to you, but that’s not my fault.

Then I suggest you lock your door(s) and bar your windows then.

Or you can admit to yourself that such paranoia in your person is unhealthy.
