RFK Jr. fires NIH vaccine whistleblower Dr. Jeanne Marrazzo
RFK Jr. fired infectious disease specialist Dr. Jeanne Marrazzo, who told CBS News she was put on leave after questioning actions taken by Trump appointees.
A whistleblower was fired from the NIH citing constitutional authority to do so.
This raises the question. Under the Trump administration, the policy is that Congress can’t prevent them from firing anyone for any reason. SCOTUS has allowed this to happen, with one notable exception.
So it raises the question, do whistleblower protections exist? Are they constitutional?
