My personal comfort zone is really from about 55 to 75. Outdoors I prefer temps in the low to mid 60's. Warmer than that I sweat and get sticky and over-heated and just don't enjoy activity anymore. Indoors I like it a little warmer, around 70.

Of course I DO enjoy swimming sometimes. Then maybe up to around 84, but that's quite enough and I don't like it on a regular basis.

I think a climate like Scotland's would be ideal for me most of the time. Ancestry.com says I am Bavarian, northern Polish and Scottish...in that order.

Scotland, from mid september to first of April would make you miserable.
 
I've been in Scotland in the middle of Summer when it was pretty miserable. And I watch golf in Scotland and see guys wearing heavy sweaters and such in August.
